Amazing opportunity for an Application Architect on an initial 3 month contract in London.

Role Information:

* My client is looking for an Application Architect to fulfil an initial 3 month contract role based in London in the financial services sector.

* The role will involve building high performance applications that process large amounts of data.

* Also running and supporting structured testing.

Required Skills:

* The ideal candidate will have significant experience with Oracle PL-SQL development with server side business applications.

* Excellent SQL experience.

* Knowledge of CM tools such as Perforce/GIT and knowledge of CI tools such as Team City.

* Experienced at working with multiple stakeholders, in particular end users and BA's working to elicit requirements and work through design.

* Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Oracle performance tuning.

* Also working in Scrum teams with an Agile methodology and using Agile estimation techniques.

* Experience with Unix/Linux and Shell scripting.
