Our client is looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to join their team in Erskine on an initial 12 month contract.

The ideal candidate will hold valid SC Clearance or be willing to go through the process

Description :

The role is for a Configuration Manager to support the design, reporting to the Deployed 4th Line Service Delivery Manager.

This role is required to support the development, configuration and build requirements.

Required Skills :

The candidate must have strong communication skills and be able to interact with various teams and management at varying levels. They should be comfortable performing administrative tasks and pro-active in their approach to work.

Customer facing experience essential.

Release or Change Management experience essential.

Strong communication skills and ability to influence others and win their trust

Resilience and the ability to question

Ability to grasp new skills and concepts quickly

Desirable Skills

* Ideally experience in Release or Change Management and familiarity of configuration management tools such as Dimensions, Clearquest or ClearCase.

* They should be comfortable learning new systems, methodical, and a team player.

* Ideally the candidate will have an interest in IT infrastructure, (i.e network and server builds).

* Use or Configuration Management tool such as Dimensions, ClearQuest, ClearCase
