A well known Retailer is looking for an Ecommerce Product Owner to join their team, and provide an overview of product strategy and product management for the entire multi-channel business, working closely with the Marketing, Commercial and Merchandising teams.

As an Ecommerce Product Owner you will be required to:

* Work with a cross-functional team to manage and deliver a product roadmap for new and existing initiatives with the remit of either improving the user experience or saving costs

* Work on the Multi-channel product strategy and roadmap. Manage the intake of new technologies working closely with Development manager to deliver on time and in scope

* Work with the Group Insight team to identify opportunities to improve our customer experience across web and mobile platforms

* Work with the Development Manager to construct, manage, prioritise and deliver a roadmap of new developments and create business cases for funding projects

* Establish key reporting and analytics to measure the success of activity and deliver insight as to potential opportunities for the Test & Learn programme

* Manage costs effectively so as not to exceed budget and take responsibility for resource planning for the team, with both internal resources and 3rd party agencies

* Understand industry trends and develop a view on where the business should go.

* Lead the product requirements and business cases for each item on the roadmap and define the success metrics and reporting needs to monitor post-launch performance.

* Deliver a programme of Test & Learn activity to constantly challenge the quid-pro-quo of what the business and DIY industry considers to be best-practice ecommerce

* Work closely with the Business Analysts and Program Managers to ensure detailed

* product specifications are in line with the business and launch on time.

* Be entrepreneurial in your approach to sourcing new technologies and techniques to profitably grow the ecommerce business

Other Ecommerce Product Owner skills and experience required:

* Experience in championing/owning business requirements for Ecommerce projects

* Proven project management/business analytical skills

* An in-depth knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in building

* roadmaps. Agile development experience a plus.

* Highly numerical/analytical with strong data analysis skills

* Ability to distil and communicate results

* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

* Ability to perform effectively under tight timelines and work well both independently and as part of a team
