A London-based Global Medical Technology Company is looking for a Strategic Programme Manager to translate business unit strategies and operating imperatives into a global Finance strategy and multi-year road map.

The Strategic Programme Manager will work with business executives and divisional and regional IT Account Directors managing this portfolio of business improvement initiatives for the company. The over-arching goal of these initiatives is to deliver on the organization's strategic objectives.

The Strategic Programme Manager will:

* Provide management direction and leadership regarding scope, value, approach, resourcing, organisational change, methodology, and architecture.

* Lead the organization through transformation, introduction of new Finance capabilities and roll out to new geographies requiring thought leadership on business process as well as technology.

* Be accountable for the on-time, on-budget and on-target (scope, value, quality) delivery of their portfolio of initiatives.

* Have overall accountability for the on-going performance and value-realisation of these capabilities once they are placed into production as services.

* Successfully develop cross-divisional, cross-regional IT strategy and multi-year road map for areas of responsibility skilfully balancing the need to meet tactical business-specific objectives met in balance with long-term, group-level strategic imperatives.

* Participate in strategic planning processes as required to ensure proper CapEx and OpEx funding is in place to deliver the road map working collaboratively with IT Account Directors and other SPMs to optimize the group-level investment portfolio.

* Lead business process redesign to drive transformational improvement in processes and systems and promote the standardization, automation and simplification of finance systems and finance processes including working with both in sourced and outsourced shared service providers in Finance and IT

* Be accountable for a portfolio of strategic business improvement initiatives The Strategic

Programme Manager MUST have:

-A proven track record of managing large-scale Finance initiatives from idea through benefits realization is required.

-Experience developing, implementing and operating Finance system and process a must.

-Experience implementing and managing SAP, Cognos, Hyperion, EPM applications, and other analytical tool-suites.

-Experience developing, implementing and operating Business Intelligence capabilities including data warehouses, ETL, analytic/reporting environments, master data management - is a strong plus.

-Deep experience in information systems and project management, preferably in regulated or medical device industry
