The successful candidate is an individual with a professional approach and broad range of IT Support experience for the role of IT Support Technician to support our client base from residential, SMB including outsourced work to support coop, tescos, argos and post office to SLA requirements.

Candidates must have experience working within a team with the ability to provide a quality support service to the organisation and clients, resolving incidents either in person or remotely. Candidates must have experience working within a similar role with the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users, both verbally and in writing.

As expected with a role of this nature, candidates must have a broad range of IT skills from building PC's and supporting desktops hardware and software issues, laptops, operating systems and applications including Microsoft office with the ability to set up and configure servers. Candidates should have good network support skills, in addition to an understanding of switches / VLANS / firewalls and configuring backup solutions.

Experience

- Full clean driving license to travel to client sites throughout the island

- Able to acquire Security Clearance to required levels

- Ability to fault find on own initiative

- Attention to detail and good communication skills

- Must be able to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision

- MS Windows XP - Windows8

- MS Office 2003 - 2013

- Completing all paperwork accurately and on time. Writing reports when required

- Windows Server 2003-2012

- Active Directory

- Exchange

- Supporting Sage Accounts
