Project Manager - Higher Education
A leading Higher Education establishment is now looking for a Project Manager to join their team.
The Role
* To take full responsibility for the definition, planning, documentation, control and satisfactory completion of any IT projects.
* To act as an interface within multiple work-stream, managing dependencies, risks and issues.
* Ensure that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are implemented.
* Manage procurement processes for the project as required, working in liaison with the Procurement team and other stakeholders.
* Undertake analysis of stakeholder objectives and business requirements, identifying options for consideration.
* Assist in identification of costs and potential business benefits.
* Identify and document the success criteria for the project ensuring successful project delivery to agreed time, cost and quality criteria.
* Ensure that multi-disciplinary project team members are managed effectively, with clear definition of work objectives and work packages, regular progress reporting and appropriate escalation processes.
* Work with key stakeholders to define acceptance tests.
* Effectively manage workload to meet the deadlines of the Enabling Technology Programme.
The Person
* Proven track history of working within Higher Education or Further Education
* Excellent communication skills
* Experience of working within a project environment
* Excellent stakeholder management skills
* PRINCE2 qualification would be desirable but not essential
