QRM ANALYST - Banking - Contract - London

My Client, a bank within London, are looking for a QRM Business Analyst accountable for aspects of the designing, building, reporting and testing of incremental improvements to the QRM Model.

To excel in this role, the incumbent will be involved in managing incremental changes, including extending the breadth and depth of model coverage, the addition of New Product and responding to organisational change. This will include Data Capture, Model design, Model Building, Report Building and testing.

The role is a 6 month rolling contract and pays up to £600 per day, based on current experience and relevance to the position.

Key Skills include:

* Significant progressive experience working within a Balance Sheet Management/Asset and Liability function

* Banking experience is essential

* Extensive experience utilising QRM model for Interest Rate Risk.

* Knowledge of ALM/FTP

* Ability to work as part of a team and add value to the design, build and test phase using QRM experience.

* Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; strong Excel user.

* Excellent numeric ability.

* Degree or professional qualification e.g. ACA, CFA, MBA, MCT

* Experience of prior QRM implementations.

* Flexible approach to work, able to play key role within a small, high calibre function.

* Works effectively in a high pressure/variable working environment.

* Communicates technical concepts to senior personnel in a succinct manner.

* Self starting, able to flush out issues and communicate these confidently.

* Strong organisational qualities.
