Project Manager - Software - Permanent : Edinburgh : up to 55K Abrecco wish to recruit, on behalf of our client, a Project Manager with a strong background in application and software development. In this role you will be the interface between the development teams and the Client Project Manager; you will be responsible for managing the pipeline of project work that developers are working on and will be involved in the design stages to ensure the proper process are being adhered to and that costs / timescale estimation is being deliver accurately. You will work closely with the senior members of the company and will be expected to challenge the ?norm?; our client is open to constructive input and new ideas around technology / processes / methodologies. To be considered for the role you will demonstrate the following skillset: Essential: - Demonstrable experience of Project Management managing multiple concurrent projects - Successful delivery of Application Development projects - Matrix management of development and analysis resources - Experience with a variety of methodologies such Waterfall, Agile, Scrum etc. Desirable: - Previous application development skills are highly advantageous; C#, WPF, Java, Oracle - Prince 2 accreditation - Financial services experience - Experience of driving solutions towards a standardised product environment This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company working in an exciting and forward thinking environment.
