C++ Developer / Senior C++ Software Engineer (POSIX Threads Sockets STL C / C++ UNIX). Global financial services provider / software house is seeking a passionate Senior C++ Developer to design and develop a high performance electronic trading platform for financial derivatives. You’ll be working across all phases of the C++ development lifecycle on a complex distributed architecture.

This is a client-facing Senior C++ Developer role, where you will lead projects whilst working hands-on to deliver the next generation trade brokerage services. Offices based in the City, smart casual dress code - excellent subsidised restaurant and gym.

Requirements:

                                                             C / C++ development on UNIX with full software development lifecycle experience

                                                             Good knowledge of financial applications / instruments, ideally have a good knowledge of Derivatives

                                                             Experience with high performance systems programming with an interest in POSIX threads, sockets and STL

                                                             Thorough understanding of computing fundamentals and object orientated programming

                                                             Ability to lead projects and provide technical leadership

                                                             Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
