My client is an award-winning financial services organisation and they are looking to expand their team of Technical Specialists with someone who has strong Java, J2EE, Unix / Linux, Oracle and Jasper reporting skills. You will also need experience of software design methodologies (e.g. UML) and functional/ non-functional testing experience as well as experience working with offshore teams. This is a business-critical position and you will have a lot of exposure to various key stakeholders up and down the business, therefore excellent communication skills are essential. Both written and verbal. You’ll be a Technical Lead / Technical specialist so you will need previous experience mentoring and managing a team of Developers both on and ideally offshore.
