This IT Support consultancy is looking for new team member to help with the growing business. This position will be primary based in the Edinburgh office with 50% of time spent on client sites.

What are they actually looking for?

First and foremost an IT support engineer that will work within out Edinburgh office, assisting with 1st and 2nd line support calls from their business clients.

Travel to client sites throughout Scotland, which might involve staying overnight.

A range of practical IT skills are necessary, but you must also have the ability to learn new ones:-

- Office, Windows and Apple Mac

- Windows Servers and Exchange Server

- Networking, Routers, VPN, Firewalls, DNS

- Office 365 and other cloud base solutions

- Mobile devices

- Virtualisation Technologies

The salary they will offer is really down to the experience you have, with the potential you can bring to the company. If you have no businesses IT experience, but are willing to work hard and prove yourself then you must have a confident business manner. If you have lot of IT experience, then they will expect you to deliver from day one, therefore allowing the company to take on larger IT projects and customers.
