Overall Job Purpose
Barclays is in the process of delivering a strategic Management Reporting system that will enhance Financial Crime Management Reporting to enable consistent delivery of key risk and performance indicators to relevant stakeholders. The purpose of this role is to assist with the design and implementation of the MI Solution.
Key Accountabilities & approximate time split (%)
(Ideally 4-10 points, or headings with sub-points. Quantify where possible e.g. cost/income budget, no of subordinates, likely no of yrs/mths to complete longest task. Could note key external/internal lateral relationships)*Build and maintain effective working relationships with peers/ key areas / stakeholders within business areas, also with other key stakeholders including Operations, Change teams, Assurance, Internal Audit and other Group functions
*Interact with various stakeholders in collecting and understanding their data and map to the key risk and performance indicators
*Conduct extensive data analytics around the source, quality and integrity of data and preparing the associated data mapping and data validation documents
*Facilitate workshops with key stakeholders to gather requirements for MI templates/reports design and specification
*Support PMO activities to track deliverables and put in place action plans where appropriate
*Support User Acceptance testing for end-to-end MI solution and reports
*Work with offshore technology teams to deliver the MI solution
Person Specification

*Good understanding of data warehousing and data modelling concepts, relational databases and SQL
*Experience with one or more BI tools such as Tableau, Qlikview, Cognos or Business Objects
*Knowledge of the Financial Services Regulatory Environment
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills and meticulous with qualitative and quantitative data
*Effective interpersonal skills to facilitate team working, knowledge sharing and senior stakeholder management
*Very good organisation skills for planning, organising and supporting multiple work streams in the context of conflicting priorities and tight deadlines
*Effective communication & influencing skills in order to acquire necessary information & to be able to work with people at all levels of the organisation; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
Preferred
*Working knowledge of Financial Crime risk areas including Sanctions, Anti-money laundering, Inquiries and Surveillance or Anti-bribery and corruption
*Financial Intelligence Analytics skills
*MI reporting experience in Big data environments

*Track record of delivering high quality deliverables
*Proven experience of working in Financial Services in a similar role
