A well known business based in South West London is looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to join their IT team.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for supporting large scale IT rollouts along with internal system improvements; and projects you will manage include, but are not limited to, Network improvements, installing Wi-Fi across the estate, PDQ Integrations, EPOS software and hardware improvements.
The ideal person for the role will have:
* Experience as a Project Manager in a retail or hospitality company
* A passion for infrastructure and technical based solutions
* The ability to communicate with people on all levels and build great relationships.
* Experience in working on high level strategic business projects working with external suppliers.
* Be a Prince2 Practitioner and have experience of working with Agile methodologies.
* Knowledge of cloud based solutions and loyalty/Big Data integrations would be advantageous.
Previous experience in the following is essential:
* Project Managing large complex projects to a successful conclusion (on time, on budget, business benefits delivered)
* Resolving issues and managing risks
* Project Managing IT system implementations.
* Facilities, process and change management
* Tracking and realisation of business benefits
* Working with senior management
* Standard Project Management concepts and processes
* Qualification in PRINCE 2 - plus APM or PMP
* Project management tools, including but not limited to: MS Word, Outlook, Excel, Project, and Visio.
* Software development lifecycle
Key responsibilities as a Project Manager include:
* To be responsible for steering, leading, and/or controlling one or more complex business projects to a successful completion including business benefit delivery, on-schedule and on budget.
* To ensure the quality of services offered by the Project department.
* To give input to all PMO requirements for the business, proposing and implementing change as appropriate taking into context the wider IT strategy and suggesting improvements where appropriate
* To support the communication of this strategy to colleagues and team members to develop understanding and acceptance
* To demonstrate and encourage behaviours that foster the businesses values of Pride, Passion, Courage, Integrity & Family
