Project Manager
Project Manager required to join a successful independent financial firm based in the City of London. The company are currently undergoing a period of expansion due their success and are looking for a skilled Project Manager to come and join their company which offers the opportunity to work on exciting new projects and also offers flexibility and a good work life balance. The role will focus on delivering projects across the IT and business side where you will be managing and documenting strategic projects ensuring that these projects are in line with the time scale and budget set.
Responsibilities include:
* Managing projects according to the time scale, budget and the agreed requirements
* Scoping and defining strategic projects
* Stakeholder management
* Chair and manage regular project meetings
* Drafting documents including project initiation, project control logs, risk registers, project plans and status reports.
* Keep projects on track to ensure they are delivered to time, budget and to the agreed scope
* Holding regular project meetings
* Being the point of contact for third parties
* Business analysis
Experience and skills required:
* Previous experience working as a project manager within wealth management, investment, discretionary or advisory firm
* Working experience with OEICS, ICA's and
* The ability to effectively deal with any project related issues
* Excellent organisational skills
* Handling all tasks with a methodological and structured approach
* Good interpersonal skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* A track record of having managed business and technical projects using structured methodologies such as Prince 2 and Agile.
* Good interpersonal skills
Salary: 70k to 85k + competitive benefits
