A fantastic new permanent opportunity has become available for a data-driven Developer to join a global Financial Services Technology firm in Glasgow.
The successful Data Developer will work with BA's, IT Partners and SME's within a collaborative team to understand and document data requirements, maintain data lineage and dependences and establish/maintain data management cadence. To be successful within the role, our client would like the appointed Data Developer to possess the following key skills and experience:
* Previous experience of proprietary Python frameworks would be highly desirable, as would C++, Fortran, OpenMP and MPI experience
* Knowledge of ETL tools (for example Informatica) and Databases (for example Oracle SQL, Sybase IQ, Hadoop, Spark)
* Previous experience of working within the Financial Services industry would be advantageous
