Job title - Lorenzo Project Manager

Location - South Warwickshire

Duration - 12 months

Essential Job Functions

* Creates and implements project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for a large project of high complexity. Prepares detailed statements of work, using the methodology defined for the Lorenzo deployment and associated planning and implementation collateral and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders regarding the various project aspects and adjusts accordingly. Participates in weekly reviews by Lorenzo Programme Manager to ensure adherence to company project management policies and procedures.

* Assists in the staffing of projects using the Lorenzo Programme Organisation resource management team and organises team members to ensure communication and understanding of deadlines, assignments and objectives.

* Manages costs, schedules and quality by overseeing project deliverables. Ensures schedule and budget are met or changed through established governance forums.

* Performs ongoing review of project status; identifies possible project risks. Recommends and implements risk mitigation solutions as approved and as appropriate.

* Works in conjunction with team members and stakeholders to manage changes to technical requirements, business requirements and schedule of

* Oversees assigned personnel for projects. Assigns work and provides direction with regard to timeliness and completion of project objectives. Address performance issues within prescribed guidelines. Provides performance input upon completion of project.

Basic Qualifications

* Four or more years of experience in Project Management in Healthcare related applications implementations (including Patient Administration and Clinical systems) in the NHS.

* Experience working with project management methodology (Prince2) including budget development, project planning, control and assurance methodologies, project management software and finance and accounting concepts and practices.

* Experience with working with NHS Business Change programmes where technology is seen as an enabler rather than the driver for a successful business outcome.

* Experience working with techniques and approaches related to architecture, development, data migration, integration and deployment of project phases.

Other Qualifications

* Skilled in estimating and common project management desktop tools.

* Good communication skills (reporting into NHS CxO Level and Senior Management).

* Ability to manage £500k - £1m sized projects.

* Willingness to travel.
