IT/Technical Project Manager - Software Development, SLDC, Agile, Prince2

A small and niche firm within the Energy sector is currently recruiting for an IT Project Manager with proven experience within the software development space, working for their small team based in central London near London Bridge.

Key Responsibilities:

*Help scope projects, ensuring they achieve wider business aims

*Manage iteration of project releases / sprints and associated adjustments of project schedule in conjunction with company level capacity plan and resourcing

*Provide regular project status reports (internal and external)

*Manage project risks, actions, issues, decisions and resulting change control

*Creatively identify solutions and make recommendations on mitigation strategies for identified issues and risks

*Own project budgets

*Be responsible for ongoing and special project development programmes

*Support new business activity from a project management perspective

*Support the development of program management processes, tools & templates

Key attributes required to be considered for the role:

*Solid Project Management experience with a track record of delivering business-oriented software development projects

*Proven experience of managing the end-to-end delivery of the software development lifecycle

*Experience of working with both 3rd party providers and external software developers

*Previous experience working to Agile or Prince2 project management methodologies, ideally with certification

*Knowledge of ITIL would be beneficial
