IT Project Manager with Networking / Networks / Telephony / Telecoms experience required by a well-established Construction Company based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

JOB OVERVIEW
We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an IT Project Manager that has experience setting up IT Services ranging from Networks, LAN / WAN, Wireless Technologies, Routers, Switches, Telephony, Video Conferencing etc. in new office buildings / Green Field sites.
Working as the IT Project Manager from the Company’s Head Office in Leatherhead, Surrey, you will remotely manage an established IT Team. You will also liaise with 3rd Party Suppliers, Infrastructure and Technical Support Teams and Service Providers, ensuring that each building is fully equipped and set up with the pre-agreed technical infrastructure required by the business, as well as meeting agreed timescales and budgets.
As the IT Project Manager you will be responsible for evaluating the technical requirements for each business, which will involve identifying the appropriate solution and budgeting costs, followed then by managing the implementation and engineers through to project completion.
Successful candidates will have previous experience working as an IT Project Manager within a Networking, LAN / WAN, Routers, Switches, Wireless Technology, Video Conferencing, Telephony / Telecoms based environment.

DUTIES
Evaluate business / technical requirements, identifying appropriate technical solutions, budgets and timescales
Co-ordinate suppliers to ensure a quick and cost effective IT set up
Work with the IT Infrastructure and Technical Support Teams to ensure the correct solutions are being implemented
Provide full handover documentation to the Service Delivery Support Teams prior to the site going live
Provide detailed reports and analysis on the current initiatives ensuring the business, including IT, are fully aware of the programme of work, status and delivery timescales
Financial / Budget management, reconciling monthly invoices (data, voice, cabling etc.) and ensuring the correct charges are transferred to the business units (recharges)
IDEAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Previous experience in a similar role, especially management experience in a support role working with remote based teams
Solid technical knowledge of:
o Telephony (Fixed and Mobile)
o VPN’s
o LAN & WAN Knowledge
o End User devices - PC, Laptop, Printer etc.
o Structured Wiring Systems
Ability to work under pressure and deliver high quality work
Effective communication skills both within IT and externally to the business
Quality and process orientated
Excellent organisational and time management skills
Network and connectivity diagnosis skills and good fault interpretational skills
QUALIFICATIONS
Attained or working towards:
CCNA
ITIL - Foundation
Prince2 - Foundation
