Calling all exceptional graduates with excellent academic results and a keen interest in IT software and finance!!

A global Financial Software vendor is looking for a talented graduate to work in a customer facing, support and analysis based role to work based in their state of the art office, based in the City of London. This reputable firm runs an extremely successful derivative trading platform and work with a large cross section of the banking industry including major investment banks, hedge funds and proprietary trading firms.

The successful candidate will be hungry for a career within finance with a strong mindset for solving and analysing problems of a complex nature, together with an aptitude for IT and a passion for technology.

You will be responsible for investigating customer issues on a daily basis and resolving them via telephone or in person, ranging from trading system issues to assisting a customer with a piece of functionality e.g. quoting on a market, setting up volatility surfaces etc. Other more complex responsibilities can include working with trading strategy development, integration work and pricing model work.

Requirements include:

*Exceptional academic results to Degree level or equivalent (ideally from subjects such as Computer Science/IT, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Economics or Financial Mathematics)

*Strong interest in financial services, with a desire to learn about derivative trading

*Passion for IT and software, with some generalist IT knowledge

*Exposure to Unix or Linux would be hugely beneficial, failing that you should have experience/knowledge of a programming language and a general aptitude for IT.
