C++ Developer / C++ Software Engineer (UNIX Mathematics STL Boost Agile Python C++ 11). Successful Hedge Fund is seeking a skilled C++ Developer to design and develop low latency trading systems. This is a varied role with responsibilities including hard core C++ work, as well as research and mathematical projects for trading algorithms and strategies.

As a C++ Developer, you will join a small, talented team, gaining a broad understanding of all aspects of the trading systems. Maintaining and update feed and line handlers, you will proactively introduce improvements and enhancements. This is an exciting time to join this expanding business founded by financial and technology experts as it widens its focus from Proprietary Trading to include other strategies and areas.

Based in Central London this is a dynamic, fast-paced environment that offers excellent career prospects for an ambitious C++ Developer.

Requirements:

                     Strong C++ template skills, ideally C++11

                     Good understanding of C++ libraries such as Boost and Boost Asio

                     Experience of network-level programming

                     Degree educated, ideally in a mathematical subject

                     Desirable: Python, NumPy, SciPy, pandas, PySide, Linux, UNIX, Agile and / or messaging potocols e.g. QPID

As a C++ Developer you will earn a competitive salary (to £55k) as well as bonus and benefits, such as private healthcare and 24 days holiday (rising to 30).
