Location: The client is flexible for the contractor to be based in either London, Leeds or Newcastle with travel to the other sites.
Key tasks and responsibilities
The Chief Technology Architect (CTA) in the new IT organisation leads the technical strategy and architecture for all the public sector clients technology: for platforms (both infrastructure and applications)Subject matter expert with deep expertise - a true technologist who has the drive to define the future of technology systemsExceptional track record of technology leadership and delivery as CTA in a high volume and fast paced environment.Track record of integrating and simplifying complex, legacy/current architecture for a large, complex, multi-divisional Enterprise.The credibility to build influence at the most senior levels of the client and Government. Ability to build relationships with start-ups as part of wider industry initiatives as well as build senior executive relationships with leading technology providers.

Delivery experience including: mobile and online apps, open source ESB, RESTful APIs, Big Data analytics and visualisation, data warehouses, converged networks, unified communications, secure development, virtualisation, cloud computing and deploying Infrastructure as CodeRecognised for leading a team of exceptional architects respected for their ability to: initiate ideas, prototype solutions, create executable blueprints delivered iteratively in agile/dev-ops operating models.
