Technical Project Manager - Software Development

Our client, a fast-growing global telecoms company, is seeking a Technical Project Manager to join their growing team.

In this exciting new role, you’ll have the chance to make a genuine impact on the success of our client’s business by taking the lead on some cutting-edge software development projects.

As the Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of software, technical roll outs and other projects within the business.

Providing technical direction to the Development, Design and Systems Integration Teams, you’ll ensure that all projects are completed to a high standard, within budget and within the agreed timeframes. You’ll agree project objectives and take ownership of the full development lifecycle.

Overseeing the progress of projects, you’ll provide structure and guidance to the Development Team and manage any technical risks throughout each project. Additionally, you’ll maintain knowledge of industry trends and developments, as well as enforcing high quality coding standards.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

- Experience of managing a team of developers working in PHP and other web-based application development languages

- A track record of managing multi-site development teams

- Experience of the software development lifecycle

- Familiarity with software engineering principles

As the Technical Project Manager, you must have strong leadership, communication and motivational skills, as well as a good level of commercial awareness. Great analytical and problem solving abilities are also key.

Overseas development experience would be beneficial to your application.
