Product Controller - Fixed Income - London

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Product Controller, who has a broad Fixed Income Product Knowledge, to join the MO P&L team for a Top Tier Investment Bank, based in London.

Key Responsibilities

Produce and validate daily P&Ls for the various trading books, to complete additional month-end control processes and to deal with queries and issues relating to these.

Timely and accurate P&L reporting, adherence to control standards and timely/effective response to received queries and requests.

Expected to be proactive in tackling issues in the P&L processes and identifying opportunities to improve control and productivity.

Essential Skills

Investment Banking Experience

P&L production/validation expertise (risk, attribution, consolidation, reconciliation, commentary)

Fixed income product knowledge (trade features and life-cycle, valuation/risk drivers, market practice)

Understanding of end to end trade flow (bank-wide knowledge, impact on other functions)
