IT Trainer - Home Based - North West and North East of England
28k Base FTC for 12 months
Benefits are an addition to the base as you will be employed directly by the client
Interviews will be held in Manchester
Brief Overview
You are required to provide comprehensive training for all members of staff within the North West and North East of England.
Your main responsibilities are to ensure competency levels are achieved and sustained. You are able to travel and be away from home to deliver training across the country. The hours will be flexible.
Job Responsibilities
*Delivery of training, using a variety of methods including, e.g. group training, individual training, coaching, induction training, distance and online learning, and computer based training
*Liaising with the Learning & Development department in the organisation, administration and evaluation of training events and activities
*Implementing course evaluation systems so that all training can be monitored to ensure a consistently high standard
*Designing and developing validation for specific training programmes
*Reviewing training programmes and evaluation methods on an ongoing basis
*Designing and delivering new training courses and developing relevant course ware and support material in conjunction with the IS Training Team Leader
*Keeping abreast of technological development and current training practices
IS TRAINER
PERSON SPECIFICATION
*Experience of providing IT training delivery on desktop or bespoke applications, typically evidenced by a minimum of two yrs experience
*Public Sector experience
*Recognised IT qualification
*Excellent interpersonal skills
*Proficient business use of Microsoft software; including creating professional detailed reports, projects, spreadsheets and presentations
*Excellent written and verbal communication, including management report writing
*Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
*Ability to work under pressure and unsupervised
