Project Planner -Highways Maintenance Freelance

Our client a leading specialist Highways Contractor is seeking a Project Planner to work on a framework project in the Birmingham area on a 12 month contract

The successful candidate will have a Civils, utilities or Telecoms experience and will be responsible to the commercial manager. You will be required to work as the Project Planner based in the office and will be working alongside the client Lead Planner to produce detailed plans on MS Project.

Duties will include:

* Take the project programme from the client lead Planner

* Input the data into MS Project

* Liaise with the operations team to understand what resource is needed

* Interface with the warehouse team and Plan the materials required

* Update client with weekly progress meetings and reporting

To be considered for this job you must:

* Have experience working on Highways, utilities or telecoms

* Able to review and create detailed programmes and schedules

* Proficient in the use of MS Project

* Able to report and present the information to operations team and client

* Good client interfacing skills

Remuneration

Rate: Negotiable

Duration: 6-12 months

Location: West Birmingham

Start date: Immediate
