BUSINESS ANALYST - OIL AND GAS - TRADING ARM

A leading oil and gas organisation seeks an experienced PM/Business Analyst to join their trading arm.

This role requires someone with excellent leadership skills and the drive and determination to succeed. You will be joining a project aiming to rationalise and replace excel and legacy systems. We are looking for a PM/BA to work across all components of a Financial MI programme.

Responsibilities will include:

*Business Analysis of legacy applications

*Excel development (non VBA)

*Analysis in the rationalisation of existing applications

*Documentation of Business Processes

*Understanding business needs / scoping of releases

*Infrequent data analysis using SQL tools

*Deliver functional enhancements (defects and / or change requests) to business community

*Perform functional analysis, impact assessments and design through a structured approach

*Update / write functional specifications

*Support functional roll out and user training (including the production of quality training artefacts)

Technical Experience

*Experience working in an analysis and project team with an implementation budget of $5m+ of budget

*Experience of SAP business usage / implementation of SAP

*Excel 2010 development and / or analysis skills

*Finance and Accounting knowledge

*A background in structured analysis

*Strong data analysis skills

*Use of SQL query analyser

*ARIS process mapping

*Knowledgeable in Physical and Finance trading
