International Energy Manager

Circa £60,000 + Vehicle Allowance + Holiday + Pension

International Energy Manager Role working hands on at the forefront of clean energy and managing reduction within the demand response industry.

Are you an electrical engineer with extensive experience within the electrical energy industry? Do you have proven project management background?

The business have enjoyed continued success since they began, they are dedicated to clean energy and managing non-essential use through demand response. As a result the company are expanding and replicating their achievements internationally, they are now recruiting for an experienced energy professional to join their highly skilled team.

This role will manage the whole process for international clients from design through implementation to the analysis of demand response projects. You will be client facing and involved in on site auditing to establish energy usage and reduction options. There will be international travel to visit international customer's sites. You will be the technical point of contact, providing support for junior engineers as well as stake holders and be go to person for demand response and energy efficiency.

This role would suit someone who is passionate about clean energy and wants to manage projects and see the results. The ideal candidate should come from a strong electrical engineering background and have extensive experience in the energy management industry. Smart grid, demand response and switchgear knowledge will be an advantage. You should have proven experience managing projects as well as hands on energy auditing.

The role:

* Managing international clients and overseeing their project from start to finish.

* Overseeing design, implementation and analysis of demand response

* Analysing energy consumption

* International travel

* Budget and schedule planning

* Management of junior engineers

* Training and support for stakeholders with relation to demand response and energy efficiency.

The person:

* Electrical engineer

* Hands on energy auditing experience

* Client and project management experience

* Ideally have knowledge of demand response schemes, energy systems and demand side management and smart grid

* Should have technical knowledge of standby generation, HV/LV switchgear, generator controls

* Willing to travel internationally

* Fluent English to a technical level
