My Client is a global leader in the business and operational software managing over £3bn worth of transactions annually.

My client is the market leader of their kind with a superb reputation and as such it relies heavily on the excellence of its internal development team to ensure that they are far ahead of their competitors.

They pride themeselves on working with cutting edge technologies and as business grows they require a new .Net Development Engineer to ensure that the technological environment is at the required level to support the frontline business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Providing third-level support for our environmental software products, investigating and fixing defects confirmed by the support team.

* Conducting System and Integration testing on code, accurately recording issues arising from testing and logging defects where appropriate.

* Development of our core environmental software products.

* Adhering to quality system policies and schedules, including the accurate and timely processing and preparation of any documentation required.

* Development of add-on modules and customisation of our environmental software products to suit customer-specific needs.

Desired Skills and Experience:

* 3 years commercial development experience in development lifecycle.

* Excellent theoretical knowledge and demonstrable practical skills in Object Orinented Programming, Relational database or SQL DDL and DML

* .Net, Microsoft Visual Studio, C#, My SQL, ASP.Net, WPF, Silverlight.
