MS BI Developer required for a 6 month contract opportunity in London. The successful candidate will join an internal BI team to work on a large ETL project. Candidates MUST have experience working with SQL 2012 and full stack.
The role is purely a back-end technical role, however candidates must be comfortable working in a team and must have good communication skills.
Financial experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Design and build ETL packages using Microsoft SSIS 2012
- Perform database performance tuning and query optimisation
- Build and maintain OLAP Cubes using SSAS
- Develop documentation of systems, policies and procedures
- Create and support reports using SSAS, SSRS and Tableau
Experience / Skills
- Extensive commercial experience in SQL Server - SSIS, SQL queries and stored procedures and dimensional modelling
- Experience in developing reports using MS SSRS & SSAS
- Experience using the MS BI toolset with Oracle databases
- Experience using Tableau to create analytical dashboards
- MDX & Tableau (Not required)
