An excellent opportunity for an experienced Software and Senior Software Engineers with strong C++, OOD and UML experience to contribute to the solving of real-life engineering problems on state-of-the-art avionics sensor systems.

You will be joining a globally successful, international leader in electronic and information technologies for defence systems, aerospace, data, infrastructures, land security and protection solutions and will be working in a talented software team on sophisticated radar, laser range finding and navigation projects for European wide projects and initiatives.

To become a part of the team, you will need -

*A good honours degree in a science based degree e.g. Software Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or Electronic Engineering. Additional relevant knowledge, experience and product expertise can however offset the normal qualification requirements.

*To be a competent programmer in an object-oriented programming language such as C++

*Experience using a Software Configuration Management tool

Useful additional experience includes -

*Experience of OOD and UML

*Experience of developing software for a real-time embedded environment.

*Experience of DOORS, Rhapsody, Dimensions

*Familiarity with MatLab toolset

*Familiarity with WindRiver Workbench and VxWorks RTOS

You should also demonstrate an interest in Software Engineering in the area of real time, embedded development for avionic systems.
