Test Engineer - Signalling (Rail)

An amazing opportunity has arisen within the UK's leading Engineering Support Services Organisation. They are the leading player in the UK rail infrastructure market and the largest conventional track renewals company in the country, and they are currently looking for a Test Engineer to join their team.

Responsibilities

As part of the Test section you will ensure successful Test and Commissioning of projects within the Rail division. Your main tasks will include:

* Carry out testing duties on site for specific projects, relevant to personal competence and experience as directed by the Senior Test Engineer

* Ensuring adherence to laid down standards for Signal Testing are strictly maintained and all relevant documentation requirements are met

* Ensure IRSE Log Book is maintained

The successful Senior Test Engineer will be competent to test different types of railway signalling systems ensuring all required standards are met. The organisation can help you develop your existing knowledge through their training and continuous development.

Qualifications

Essential:

* Signal Works Testing Mod 4

* Signal Works Testing Mod 3C

* Signal Works Testing Mod 3BL

* IRSE Licence - Verification Tester (1.3.155)

Preferable or working towards:

* Signal Works Testing Mod 3BL

* Signal Works Testing Mod3BI

* Signal Works Testing Mod 1(S)

* IRSE Licence - Functional Tester (1.3.170)

Requirements

* Rail sector experience/knowledge

* Flexibility with location - company main offices in Hamilton, Crewe, Derby, Birmingham, Bristol

* IT literate

* Motivated

* Analytical
