C++ Developer / C++ Programmer (Distributed Systems Algorithm OOD UNIX Quant C++). Global financial organisation is seeking a talented C++ Developer to join a newly formed team building a real-time, distributed platform that operates across asset classes. You will design and develop new features and functionality for these large-scale, distributed systems, devising elegant solutions to challenging issues.

As a C++ Developer you will manage your own projects throughout the full development lifecycle, working closely with multiple front office teams to gather their requirements. Integrating innovative, large-scale systems with trading, risk and treasury management applications, you will deliver a high-quality, comprehensive solution.

Based in the City this is a friendly, cooperative environment where you will work with the latest technologies and techniques on a broad range of projects.

Requirements:

                               Excellent C++ skills

                               Understanding of data structures and algorithms

                               Quantitative finance experience, ideally including risk calculation, pricing and / or trading strategies

                               Strong analytical and problem solving abilities

                               Excellent written and verbal communication skills
