Product Manager - Music / Consumer Electronic Hardware & Software for creative music technology company

To £55,000 per annum Dalston, London E8

The Role

We seek a talented individual to join the Product Team, working closely with the Technical Project Manager and engineering team, developing and building a ground-breaking new product. Responsibilities include:

* Lead the development of a revolutionary, modular music creation product

* Harvest and use market knowledge / research to develop and validate product concepts and specifications

* Work with engineers, designers, and key stakeholders to manage the product development / evolution

* Define critical use cases of the product and develop hardware / software roadmaps to adapt

The Company

Our East London based client is a fast growing design-led technology company stretching the frontiers of digital music technology and interactive innovation. As creators of the award-winning Seaboard GRAND, a revolutionary musical instrument that has received worldwide attention from artists and the press, and selling in 32 countries, the business continues to grow at a rapid pace.

You will join a fast moving team with a diverse range of skills and talents focussed on pioneering innovative touch technologies in music and beyond. You will be able to take advantage of a state of the art design lab, free home-made GOLDnola, the outpourings of the juicer, freshly baked bread, healthy lunch, proper coffee and develop your creative new ideas in their "Hack" sessions.

The Person

The successful Product Manager will have a track record of leadership in Product Management, preferably with:

* A good understanding of the MIDI controller market

* Technical knowledge of leading products such as pad controllers

* High level of knowledge of music production / performance workflow

* Experience in managing the delivery of mobile software applications, ideally for iOS

* Business planning experience including user acquisition strategies

* Good communication and presentation skills

* Experience of a consumer electronics or music production company / product

* Understanding of hardware and software development cycles
