Roster Clerk is required for a leading player in the U rail infrastructure market. This is an amazing opportunity to develop on existing office based skills to support the roster manager in the efficient allocation of production staff ensuring that the safest and most cost effective resource solution compatible with the work load and skills required is implicated to support the contracted works.

Responsibilities

* Under the direction of the roster manager produce rosters to allow the effective utilisation of the resources.

* To ensure that labour allocated meets the skill level required to undertake the works safely and efficiency.

* Assist the roster manager to acquire internal or external labour resource when it is when required.

* Ensure that data is supplied to the roster manager for inclusion on a database on supplier performance and resource to allow selective resource procurement for future requirements.

* Highlight training and competence requirement to the relevant management/supervisors and roster the effective release of staff for training purposes.

* Supply information to HR under the supervision of the roster manager when requested.

* To supply any required information and support the Project Planners in monitoring resource.

The ideal candidate will have experience of working in an office and using IT systems to input data such as Invoices and Purchase Orders. You will have a successful track record of communicating via email and phone to external suppliers and internal teams. You will be able to deal with confrontation and be able to influence people in order allocate resource.
