URGENT! Well known Brnad looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer.

As Test Automation Engineer you will demonstrate your ability as an expert when validating quality and reviewing the functionality of current systems and processes. You will define test strategy from reviewing current project requirements, ensuring optimal results within test environment. You will create high quality, bug-free solution that will be more than the business needs expectation. Become a mentor to junior members of the team as well as wok in collaboration with the principle lead and lead engineers. Must have hands on experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber or similar

In addition you will be apart of a team where you will actively encourage collaboration, rewarding excellence where possible.

Skill and requirements:

* Testing services and APIs using XML, JSON

* Understand how to best design automated testing across application layers using UI, API, Integration and Unit tests

* Proven experience in Performance testing, test design and strategy, verification and validation.

* Understanding of HTML/HTTP

* Knowledge of coding in at least one language, preferably C#

* Team management experience.

* Analytical experience.

* ISEB/ISTQB certified

* Review current business requirements and processes and implementing improvements where possible.

* Attend/Hold work shops and meetings prior to testing and ensure full understanding of requirements.

* Develop detailed test plans and scripts.

* Clear understanding on methodologies specifically BDD, TDD, ATDD

* Experienced in Black and White Box testing methodology.

* Bug tracking management.

Must have:

* Software Engineering or Computer Science degree level or higher

* Scrum, Extreme Programming or another agile approach.

* User-centric approaches.

* SQL, Cassandr,Unix.

* Automation testing Tools similar to Cucumber, Ruby, Selenium etc

* GIT and Subversion.

* Performance testing tool e.g Jmeter, Loadrunner

* Jira

* VMWare.

* Basic Unix / Linux skills.
