My Edinburgh based client is seeking a Graduate Test Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

My client is highly regarded in the development industry and recognised for being in the forefront of technology.

They are seeking a graduate who is prepared to be involved and responsible for functional (both manual and automation), regression, ad-hoc and compatibility testing of software produced by the Development teams. You will be reviewing and analysing the business and functional requirements, follow the test plans to produce appropriate test scripts as well as producing quality test documentation (Test Plans, Test Scripts, and Traceability) to agreed deadlines.

As an integral part of the test team, you will be attending and contributing to project kick off meetings to ensure a good understanding of potential testing requirements and creating and executing both manual and automation scripts.

Graduates should demonstrate experience in some of the following areas:

* Must have an IT related degree

* Test automation experience testing in web, web service API and iOS and Android device based environments

* Test Driven Development

* Behaviour Driven Development

* Knowledge of either C/C++, SQL, C#, VB.NET, Java, HTML, XML, Batch files, Shell scripts, VB Script or Java Script

* Using JIRA for test case management and defect tracking

* Selenium WebDriver and Appium

* Agile / Scrum Experience

* Software Development Lifecycle

* Software engineering principles
