The Parliamentary Digital Service forms part of the parliamentary Administration.

We are the strategic technology partner to the Commons and the Lords and deliver new technologies and technology enabled change through third party contracts and in-house bespoke development. We are responsible for all operational ICT support for Parliament including a complex business applications portfolio and a secure and efficient network and desktop environment for MPs, Lords and parliamentary staff.

The In-house Agresso Technical Specialist is an important new role and has been created to enhance and build the in-house Agresso team; the primary purpose is to improve and develop the solution for our users.

This will be effected through providing leadership and technical expertise to the support team and to develop, share and embed good practice.

The Agresso Technical Specialist will also advise decision-making boards and stakeholders in relation to change within both business as usual operations and project delivery.

The In-house Agresso Technical Specialist will advise on and take responsibility for the delivery of change requests in conjunction with the change board, scheduling resources and providing quality assurance in all aspects of the change. The Agresso Technical Specialist will play a key role in contributing to the strategic planning work around our use and development of enterprise resource planning solutions.

Skills and Experience

We are currently looking for an In-house Agresso Technical Specialist who:

- Demonstrates good planning + organisational skills to prioritise to meet deadlines

- Cope with fluctuations in workload

- Effective team working skills to ensure constructive use of everyone’s skills and experiences.

- A systematic + analytical approach to problem solving.

- The ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences

- In-depth software knowledge of HR, Payroll, Finance & Procurement

- Ability to interpret business requirements to build a transformative business solution

- Experience in Business Process Analysis & Design

- Knowledge of business intelligence and reporting tools

- Strong relationship management, teamwork, communication, reporting and presentation skills
