An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Glasgow-based software company that specialises in developing business productivity tools that helps individuals, teams and organisations achieve more. Our client is now looking to drive substantial growth by building their digital marketing, product engineering and commercial teams. To support this growth they are hiring someone to take ownership of our Internal IT and product support.

If you’re a smart, confident and enthusiastic individual this is your opportunity to take ownership of an internal IT infrastructure and product technical support, where you will be responsible for maintaining and growing our internal IT systems and supporting staff with technical issues. You will also be responsible for the technical support of our products where you will answer customer queries by email and sometimes telephone, so good customer communication skills are a must. This is an excellent opportunity to grow in to either of these disciplines as the business grows and expands each of these areas in the future.

Responsibilities:

- Provide customers with excellent technical product support, mainly by email and sometimes telephone and remote assistance

- Provide staff with IT support

- Take ownership of internal IT systems and help to shape them going forward

- Take ownership of hardware procurement and provisioning

- Be prepared to go the extra mile to help staff and customers alike

- Get your hands dirty with office maintenance and expansion

Experience and skills required:

- Software technical support experience and excellent customer facing skills

- 1+ years of previous IT support experience

- Desktop/Laptop support experience in a Windows environment

- Knowledge of setting up and maintaining networks in small to medium size business
