Enigma People Solutions client is a Glasgow-based software company that specialises in developing business productivity tools that helps individuals, teams and organisations achieve more. Our client has customers in over 130 countries, and to date has sold over 600,000 software licenses.

After recent investment, we are now looking to drive substantial growth by building our digital marketing, product engineering and commercial teams. To support this growth we are currently looking for a Web Developer to join our clients growing Product Development team who are responsible for the on-going development of new web based business productivity tools.

The Role:

As a member of our clients dynamic and talented product development team you will be responsible for help drive their new Web product forward.

You will:

Be responsible for the design and delivery of key functionality

Provide technical design input to the team and technical leadership

Work within the Agile Development process

Work in an environment where you are encouraged to share knowledge, learn and grow in your career

Be skilled in defining priorities and managing expectations.

To be considered for this position, you must have:

A Software/Computer Science/ IT or related degree

Advanced JavaScript skills (OO, prototype chaining, AMD etc.)

Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JQuery and web standards

At least 2 years’ experience of developing software in a commercial environment

A solid understanding of OO and design patterns

A passion for developing well designed, high quality and intuitive web apps

A willingness to learn new technologies and skills

The motivation and drive to meet team goals and objectives

While not essential, experience in the following would also be an advantage:

Node.js

Using Backbone or similar frameworks

Integrating and developing APIs (REST / SOA)

SQL / NoSQL

Using Windows Azure or other cloud-based services

A good knowledge of .Net development ASP.NET MVC, C#
