PMO Manager - IT and non IT Projects - Central London with some work from home - £50 - £60k + superb benefits. Sole PMO to set up and manage a Central, Group PMO function. Previous experience of setting up a PMO, no line management responsibility.

The PMO Manager will provides the full range of support to designated teams at predominantly a Programme and Project Manager Level including the set up of a centralised PMO function. The PMO Manager will provide assurance for a portfolio of around 30-40 projects, spanning across all aspects of the business. Responsibility includes pipeline processes, Milestone, Risk and Issues Tracking, Governance process management, Compliance to Framework / Delivery processes management, together with financial reporting. The PMO Manager will be solely responsible for PMO assurance but will not hold any line management responsibility.

Experience required:

- PMO Management experience, surrounding processes and governance of IT and non-IT projects

- Experience of setting up a central PMO/reviewing and centralising a PMO function

- Self-motivated and able to manage their own priorities, work on own initiative, driving high quality standards in self and others

- Project & Portfolio financial, assurance, governance & reporting (no budget responsibility)

- A good eye for detail, familiar with project-based information including financials

- Strong Administrative, Communication, Engagement and mentoring skills.

- Familiarity with PRINCE2 and ITIL based frameworks and project ways of working and terminology

- Strongly motivated individual who is comfortable working in a busy, dynamic work environment and can respond flexibly to varying deadlines

- MS Office expertise, especially in Word, Excel (Macros, Pivots, etc) and PowerPoint and MS Project

- Building successful stakeholder relationships up to board level

- Experience with maintaining and creating process documentation
