If you offer extensive expertise in governance process across large organisations this is an excellent opportunity to play a leading role within the largest infrastructure programme for a generation.

As Head of Governance, you will develop, implement and improve the governance structure and processes and manage the operational support provided to governance entities within the HS2 programme and between the HS2 programme, Department for Transport and key stakeholders to assure high quality outcomes, right first time.

Specifically this will entail:

Continuous review of the governance arrangements for effectiveness and efficiency;

Defining structures, developing processes and reviewing policies relevant to governance in order to ensure they are effective and in line with strategic business objectives;

Identify interdependencies, issues and risks that threaten successful delivery of the programme.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable track record of managing complex relationships with multiple stakeholders, a broad background in leading programme activities and a strong track record of managing programme and project delivery, issues, risk, and conflict resolution in the interests of successful outcomes.
