What we're looking for

IT Business Analysts who can capture functional and non-functional IT requirements and work with business and IT stakeholders to establish a clear definition of scope. Candidates must be able to identify and document requirements, understanding how the requirements map to the technical solution whilst ensuring that the capabilities of the software are considered. Successful candidates will apply both functional knowledge and technical expertise during requirements analysis to deliver comprehensive solutions.

Key responsibilities will include:

Gathering, analysing and documenting solution requirements using business process models, use cases and providing both functional and technical expertiseEstablishing and maintaining traceability matrix to verify requirements coverage and completenessWorking with client stakeholders to ensure that captured requirements are measurable, testable and have an associated business benefitExcellent client stakeholder engagement skillsFacilitating requirements gathering workshops and managing follow-up activitiesWork with Project Managers to deliver quality, effective software in line with their existing development processAssisting in identifying, analysing and mitigating project and operational risksUtilizing efficient and effective processes and standards in order to continuously improve quality

Basic qualifications

Required skills, qualifications, technology experience and general experience:

You will possess a good quantitative or numerical degree from a leading university or have equivalent experienceHands-on experience of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) either within development or testExperience capturing and documenting requirements and use cases, business rules, requirements traceability, UML modelling, using storyboardsExcellent communication skills with client stakeholders of all levelsExperience using appropriate tools for business process modelling, UML modelling, storyboards and requirementsmanagement/traceability.Solution Fit/Gap analysisISEB or IIBA certifications in business analysis - Certification is preferred but not mandatoryRetail Banking experience preferred but not mandatory
