Junior / Graduate / HTML5 / JavaScript Web Developer - £18,000 to £24,000 depending on experience

Based: Bristol

The Role

The Junior / Graduate / HTML5 / JavaScript Web Developer will use latest web technologies to produce outstanding interactive e-learning materials. The Junior / Graduate / HTML5 / JavaScript Developer will work on a variety of projects, some small enough to allow you to take full ownership, others where you will be working as a key member of a talented and motivated team.

Our client is a rapidly growing Bristol based developer of award winning solutions and products for a diverse client base in various sectors of the academic and educational markets.

The Person

The successful Junior / Graduate / HTML5 / JavaScript Web Developer will have a passion for the web and a desire to work with the latest web technologies. You will have previous experience of writing HTML5 / CSS3 and will have written Javascript code that isn't just jQuery. You already use a version control system (ideally git) and write good quality, clean, tested code.

Although not essential, familiarity with any of the following would be very helpful: Angular JS, Snap.svg, Grunt, Gulp, Bower, Node JS, SVG, Object Oriented Programming, Software testing - Unit

Testing (Jasmine), Functional testing (Selenium, Protractor), linux or unix OS and CLI (ideally Ubuntu). Some design experience ( UI / UX Design, typography, grid design, animation) would be particularly relevant.
