The future of tax is digital. We’re transitioning over to a new operating model that will allow us to provide new digital services to our customers, via one of the biggest IT estates in Europe. And this is your chance to be part of our ground-breaking new initiative.

As a senior officer you’ll play a key role in leading the delivery of technological changes that will transform our organisation - and the way in which customers access our services. You’ll oversee the day-to-day technical operation of our Cloud Centre, ensuring all Cloud Brokering services and underlying platforms are effectively managed and maintained. You’ll provide leadership to our operations team here - while liaising with stakeholders across the organisation on everything from design and build, to maintenance and reporting.

Alongside experience working with Windows/Linux, you’ll need virtualisation knowledge of the Type 1 hypervisors from VMWare, KVM, Xen, Hyper-V or Open Stack. You’ll also need a broad technical background, some scripting experience and a working knowledge of infrastructure automation tools. A relevant technical qualification, relating to infrastructure server environments, and an understanding of ITIL will also be essential.
