This is an excellent opportunity for an Application Support Analyst to join a leading IT Services organisation in Glasgow. The position offers the chance to support a dynamic bespoke application, developed in-house, gaining exposure to the full development lifecycle.

The Successful Application Support Analyst will be responsible for:

* Providing 2nd to 3rd line support to external customers’ using the companies bespoke in-house software and COTS applications

* Answer any customer queries in regards to applications capabilities and features Interact with customers in identifying issues and supporting them through the resolution process ensuring issues are logged and escalated correctly in accordance with strict ITIL processes

* Communicate with the internal development and service delivery teams to share knowledge and identify areas for continual improvement as well as user requirements identified by customers

* Support developers when testing any changes made to bespoke applications

To perform these duties Application Support Analyst will need experience in:

* Excellent experience of providing 2nd/3rd line support for bespoke and COTS applications within an ITIL environment

* Experience of working within an application support team within a customer facing environment

* Strong communication skills when dealing with all levels of internal staff and with external customers

* Possess a high attention for detail, ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained

* Experience in support SQL Server 2008/2012 or Clustering

* Development skills within ASP.Net, Java, C#, Delphi would be advantageous
