Enigma People Solutions is recruiting an experienced engineer (with a strong background in the validation of semiconductor products) for an outstanding Imaging R&D company based in Edinburgh.

On offer is the opportunity to join a dynamic team working with leading edge technology in the growing image sensor market. The role is within the Promotion and Application Support team, forming part of the Imaging R&D team in Edinburgh which includes all disciplines required in the design and support of full custom image and photonic sensor systems. In addition to the challenges of supporting complex imaging products, application engineers are exposed to many disciplines within the product cycle.

Coming with a degree in physics or electronic engineering and commercial experience of system verification and analysis, you will work with various teams to provide the best possible solutions from imaging devices. You will be involved in the system level verification and support of Imaging systems including analysis of and finding novel ways of solving customer problems. You will work with the customer from promotion, through to platform integration and acceptance into mass production.

This role demands a team focussed, collaborative and a strong communicator and also involves:

                     Taking the lead on application of the product to coordinate the answers to customers.

                     Evaluate & anticipate resource requirements.

                     Consolidate support activities (doc, validation, training, board design, …)

                     Consolidate status of the product support activities & weekly reporting to the team

                     Interface with the customer whenever required
