Main Responsibilities

*Prioritise, schedule and action change requests from both internal and external parties

*Understand the possible impact of every proposed change on the platform and the potential effect on partners and clients, and deliver balanced risk assessments as part of regular update communications

*Use executive authority to review and authorise, modify or reject every change request

*Become both a dynamic and reliable member of a fast-paced team and help to continue the rapid expansion of the business

*Drive regular Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and attend regular service reviews with invested partner companies

*Co-ordinate all necessary parties to manage change building, testing and implementation, in accordance with schedules

*Diligently assess every change against the proposed change objectives, and ensure that any change failing to meet the requirements is reverted

*Maintain a detailed log of all change activity to deliver complete visibility over platform progress and performance against updates

*Take ownership of change analysis to determine trends and devise continual improvement strategies to procedures

*Produce regular management reports and liaise directly with line managers in weekly reviews

Experience and Skills:

*Have strong educational background with a 2.1 and above, and a BBB and above at A-levels

*Must have the relevant documentation to work in the UK on a permanent basis

*Must be able to pass a Disclosure Scotland basic security check

*Be hard working and ambitious

*Excellent level of IT/Computer literacy

*Good oral and written skills

*Be well organised with excellent attention to detail

*Be able to produce written work including update notifications to deadlines

*Be prepared to travel to meetings in the UK, and occasionally abroad

*Uphold the company's values and ethos

*Be able to work effectively within an international, multicultural team

*Strong management and timekeeping skills

Desirables:

*General experience working in a customer facing role

*An excellent telephone manner and the ability to converse with, and retrieve relevant information from, users at all levels of IT literacy and rank

*A keen interest in technology in general, and in software, computing and telecoms in particular

*Previous experience working in the IT and Telecoms sector

*Experienced in working with the software development lifecycle, cloud platforms and/or the development of hardware and software

*Be comfortable representing the company in front of customers, partners, and suppliers

*Experience in project management or project delivery in the IT and Telecoms sector

*Ability to interact with and understand updates from applications and development engineers, and condense this information into a style appropriate for update recipients

*Be comfortable working in a fast-growing company full of enthusiastic, highly intelligent colleagues
