Petroplan currently have the following requirement for a System Developer (.NET & SQL) to join our growing client on a permanent basis in Edinburgh.

The client is a fast growing business looking for system developers specialized in .NET and MS SQL with very good communication and presentation skills.

Key responsibilities will include:

Producing detailed specifications and writing the programme codes

Maintaining, auditing and improving organisational support systems

Testing and modifying systems

Collaborate with team members to find alternative design approaches to complex technical issues

Drive best technology and software development practices into the team with passion and enthusiasm

Participate in creating presentations of the final product to clients and business stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have:

A degree in Information Technology or related discipline

Very good communication and presentation skills

Strong background in using VB.NET and MS SQL

Very good programming skills

Full 360 development cycle experience

C#, XML experienced

Attention to detail
