My client is an innovative leading cloud technology business, seeking a 1st Line Support Engineer to join their team in Glasgow. - You will be responding to system triggered alerts on supported customer and in-house systems, including restarting services, diagnosing hardware failures and analysing system and application log files for software issues.
- You will also be responsible for analysing supported systems to detect and raise incidents for issues that may not have been reported by monitoring tools.
- The successful candidate will be working with vendors such as Netapp, VMware, Citrix, Hyper-V and Microsoft products.
- This is a great opportunity to take advantage of the 4 on 4 off shift pattern, which allows engineers to enjoy 12 concurrent days off.
Experience and Skills:
- Previous experience working in a service desk environment is desirable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
