Developer- Senior/ Big Data/ Hadoop/ Scala/ Spark/ ETL

My client, a global leader in business and technology services, is looking for Developers and Senior Developers to join a team working with Big Data Technologies. This will be an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly growing practice.

Information about the role

You will be responsible for evaluating data availability and quality, extracting and transforming data for analytic projects within the context of a Hadoop environment. You will also be working with the functional team/ frameworks team to understand requirements and translate them to technical specifications. Additionally you will be interacting with users to define system requirements and/ or necessary modifications.

Information about the candidate

The ideal candidate will have strong programming experience in Scala and Spark as well as Python development experience. Knowledge of ETL environments and Java development experience is also highly beneficial. You must have worked with the Hadoop ecosystem and have hands on experience of NoSQL.
